Nonprofit membership & services

The Nonprofit Partnership

TNP needed to explain a broad suite of services to several stakeholder groups, bring a large amount of existing content into a new site, and give members access to useful resources.

The project brought together a membership portal, resource libraries, and a website the staff could maintain themselves. Content auditing and migration were part of the work, alongside the design and build.

  • Membership portal and resource libraries
  • Service content for multiple audiences
  • Existing content audit and migration
  • Staff editing and site management

Project fit

When a custom website makes sense

The scope follows what your organization needs. These are some of the reasons a project needs more time and planning.

Several audiences to serve

Members, clients, funders, partners, or buyers need different information and clear next steps.

A substantial content library

Years of pages, resources, and service information need to be reviewed, organized, and moved carefully.

More than standard pages

Portals, directories, search, or connections to other tools need to work as part of the website.

An active internal team

Your staff need to publish content and keep the site current with a manageable editing process.

How we work

From planning through launch

01 · Define the scope

Goals, audiences & content

We review your existing site, talk through stakeholder needs, and agree on the pages, functionality, and content work the project requires.

02 · Design the experience

Structure & visual design

We organize the information and design the key pages around your brand. Your team reviews the direction before development.

03 · Build & test

Development & migration

We build the agreed functionality, bring over approved content, and test the site across screen sizes, including accessibility and key user tasks.

04 · Prepare your team

Launch & handoff

We prepare for launch and show your staff how to manage the site. Hosting and ongoing website support are scoped separately.

Investment & timing

Projects start at $15,000

Your proposal reflects the work your website needs.

Content volume, integrations, custom functionality, and review requirements all affect the investment and schedule. Larger engagements are quoted to match their scope.

We agree on deliverables, responsibilities, and a timeline before the project begins. If you have a launch date in mind, bring it to our first conversation.

Questions about custom websites

Do you work with businesses as well as nonprofits?

Yes. We work with mission-driven organizations and brands, including nonprofits, green technology and renewable energy companies, and established small businesses. The right fit depends on your goals and the work your website needs.

How is this different from the Website Sprint?

Our nonprofit Sprint starts at $7,500 and follows a focused three-week process for up to five key pages. Custom projects allow for more extensive content, functionality, integrations, and stakeholder review. We recommend the approach that fits your scope.

Can our team update the website?

We plan the editing setup around the content your team will maintain and include a handoff. Some specialized features may still need developer support. We'll clarify those responsibilities during scoping.

Can you bring over our existing content?

Yes. We can include a content audit and migration in your project. We'll agree on what to keep, revise, or retire, and plan for existing page addresses that need redirects.
